Children Of Sea And Basin

unnamed ships
never dock
nor come to bay
leave by shadow
like moonlit bottles
unwashed
unresting
despairing
shamed
hurried past
disparate shores
though wandering
with aim

Not too much to update on. We just got paid, the apartment is settled in, and we're making friends around the area. So far, so good.

For this poem I was thinking of loneliness, where I've experienced it, and where I've seen it in others.

Yeah, this is the new one. It's only going to be fiction. There will be more of this story. I am currently working on the second chapter. How did you find it btw? Anyway, good to hear from you.

i just heard we can't go drink tea with madeleine on her porch anymore, like we talked about doing someday. not unless there are good porches and tea-drinking going on in heaven.
